Designed with kids in mind, Hotel Pennant Hills has a fabulous indoor playground, split into a soft play area for under 4’s and a kid’s room for those up to 10 years old. They cater for birthday parties and mothers groups and are perfect for a family meal out. Find out more on the website.

  1. Ranch Hotel North Ryde

With a family dining area overlooking the playground and a jumping castle most days of the week, the Ranch Hotel is a kid’s paradise! They also have a Ranchies kids club and some great meal deals for the family. Find out more online.

  1. Harbord Diggers

Harbord Diggers is possibly the most child friendly club in Sydney, with a range of free kids activities throughout the month including discos, petting zoos and jumping castles, plus the new Diggers Cove outdoor playground. There is a huge grassed lawn for the kids to run free on, plus a large undercover decked area for parents to sit and watch them play.   1. The Grounds Keeper Café (Ryde Park)

Located right in the middle of Ryde Park, the Grounds Keeper café is the perfect escape for days when your kids need the playground and you need a coffee. The Belrose Hotel boasts Australia’s biggest indoor hotel play area and has to be seen to be believed. The play equipment rivals some of the best indoor play centres around and it is free for guests dining in the hotel. Newport Arms Hotel is another popular Northern Beaches venue with superb facilities for kids (not to mention view to die for). The outdoor courtyard area features a big enclosed kids play area and there is plenty on the menu to keep little and big kids happy. Check it out here.

With a fabulous enclosed garden area for the kids, The Watsen Bay Tea Gardens Café is perfect for kids.
