These handmade Christmas candy canes is a fantastic option if you and the kids need to make a large number of presents for daycare teachers or classmates. They’re simple and look great (and it’s a great fine motor activity too!).
You will need:
Pipe cleaners
Red and green beads
How to:
1. String a bead onto the pipe cleaner, wrap the end of the pipe cleaner around the bead to keep it in place
2. Alternate red and green beads until the pipe cleaner is almost full.
3. Twist the end of the pipe cleaner around the final bead.
4. Bend the pipe cleaner into a candy cane shape.
