Every year I make handmade Christmas Cards, and I’ve always found that the simple designs are not only quicker to churn out, they’re also much more impressive than a more cluttered look. Here are a few designs to help inspire you:
All you need to make these cards are items you’ll find at any craft shop or Spotlight store – scrapbooking paper packs are great value for money and the bonus is all the papers will complement each other (you don’t even need to try!). A stamp or two, some double sided tape and whatever embellishments tickle your fancy, plus some plain card and envelope multi packs and you are ready to start. I created my own embellishments by cutting star shapes out of the paper and used different types of ribbon plus some buttons. It really is easy.
