Review of the OiOi  Carry All Nappy Bag (Quilted Diamond Black)

Design:

The “Diamond Quilted Black Carry All” OiOi Carry All Nappy Bag is one of the most stylish and sophisticated Nappy Bags in this review. It is covered in a quilted and padded stitched pattern across the exterior of the bag, with the OiOi brand featuring on the Jacquard Lining. It is more compact in size than some of the other handbags of a similar style, however the Carry All comes with an assortment of compartments and pockets.

On the exterior, this bag has 9 pockets, 5 of which are on the front of the bag (all zipped). There are also 2 side pouches for water bottles (or other belongings), and the 2 main zipped compartments. With all these pockets and pouches, it is clear that this “compact” nappy bag packs a big punch! The “Quilted Diamond Black” is quite solid, keeping its shape even when empty.

The OiOi Nappy Bag also came with a host of extra goodies, including a large padded black change mat (nice and cushiony for bub!), an insulated bottle holder, a plastic baby wipes container, a plastic zip up wet purse, stroller straps and a long shoulder strap. This bag was the only one that came with all of these inclusions, adding to the overall value of the bag.

Practicality:

The OiOi Carry All is another convertible Nappy Bag, which can change into 3 different styles – a handbag, a shoulder/messenger bag and a cross body bag. Personally, I did find that the solid build of the bag made it a bit uncomfortable to wear as a handbag style. But the beauty of the convertible bag is that it allows you to wear the nappy bag in whatever way you feel comfortable, which for me more often than not included in the crook of my arm!

The “Quilted Diamond Black” Carry All also came with stroller straps, making it easy to take the bag on outings (although with its compact size it would easily fit underneath a pram as well). With shorter stroller straps, the nappy bag sits higher up and closer to the pram handlebar, making it easier to access the contents as required. The straps clip on by pushing on the bottom latch, making it easy to attach to the pram (because, as mums, we want everything to be easier!).

I was a bit skeptical of how everything would fit into the OiOi Carry All Nappy Bag. I immediately loved that there were multiple compartments (as I love to have an organised bag), but wasn’t sure I could pack in all my bits and pieces. I liked that the back compartment came with the bottle holder, changing mat and baby wipes container, as this covers the majority of the bare essentials. I was able to then include the lunchbox, nappies, and my valuables in the front compartment and remaining pockets (even though the very front 2 zipper pockets are quite small and don’t really fit anything).

Value:

As a Handbag Nappy Bag, the price is always a bit on the higher end. However, as theOiOi Carry All Nappy Bag includes a wide range of accessories, including the practical benefits of stroller straps and fitting almost all my belongings (which is a lot), I think this bag is one of the best in terms of value for money.

Stand Out Features:

  • The OiOi Carry All Nappy Bag has a stylish and sophisticated design with the stitched quilt pattern.
  • Comes with an assortment of accessories to help with all your baby care needs (the best in terms of selection).
  • Can be worn as 3 different styles (handbag, shoulder and crossbody) to match your personal preference.
  • Comes with short stroller straps to make outings simpler and access to your bag easier.
  • The Carry All can fit a large amount of objects despite its compact size.
  • It comes with numerous pockets and compartments to help with organising your bag.
  • The “Quilted Diamond Black” is great value for money.

Considerations:

  • The front 2 zipper pockets are too small to fit anything.
  • The sturdy design of the nappy bag made it uncomfortable to wear as a handbag (as it felt a bit “bulky”), so I wore it more in the crook of my arm. This is a personal preference and will vary for different women.
