Baby prefers others over mum
Q&A: My baby is 10 weeks old and I feel like he doesn’t prefer me to others. I’ve never been overly maternal so I don’t know if he picks up on this! He is breastfed with a formula before bed which his dad feeds him. My Aunty looks after him once a week for a few hours while I shop and it seems he smiles and loves being with her more than me. It has pretty much always been this way, it’s not a stage. Anyone else feel like this?
Baby Sleeping In Arms
Q&A: My little boy is almost 5 months old. He has never really liked napping during the day but it was easy to rock him to sleep. This past week he falls asleep quite easily in my arms but screams the second I put him down in his cot. As soon as I pick him up he resettles in my arms. We go through this five or six times until he eventually falls into a deep sleep and I can put him down into the cot. Has anyone experienced this with their little one? Is it just a phase?
