Reindeer Feet Craft With Babies

{CRAFT} Reindeer Feet {CRAFT} Reindeer Feet

Christmas is all about family and giving and one of the best ways to combine the two is to make homemade gifts for friends and relatives. One of the easiest DIY Christmas gifts to make with children is reindeer feet. They can be made with little babies right through to big kids, and they also double as a little sensory play activity, so they’ll have fun making them plus they’ll have an awesome keepsake at the end!

Reindeer Feet can be used as:

  • A family keepsake {make a new footprint each year and date them to see how your children have grown}.
  • Cut them out and stick them to homemade cards.
  • Put a hole, in the end, using a hole punch and write on the back to use them as gift tags.

For Reindeer Feet You will need:

  • Brown paint
  • Paint brush or roller
  • White Paper
  • Googly Eyes
  • PVA Glue
  • Black Pen
  • Red Pom Pom

How To Make Reindeer Feet:

  1. Roll or brush brown paint onto the bottom of your child’s foot
  2. Stamp your child’s footprint onto the white paper {for older children get them to stand on top of the paper for 20 seconds and their weight will make the footprint even, for babies hold them above the paper and push their foot down with one hand}
  3. Allow the footprints to dry.
  4. Draw antlers coming out the top of the footprint starting in line with the toes.
  5. Glue the googly eyes onto the footprint just under the toes.
  6. Glue the red pom pom onto the centre of the heel

Alternatively, you can use:

  • Eye stickers instead of googly eyes.
  • Dot the reindeer’s nose with red paint instead of a pom pom.
