Mums and Bubs Movies Sydney Guide

The first few years of your child’s life can be the most stressful for parents. While you want to be able to leave the house sometimes and do activities you enjoy: this can be extremely difficult with a little one who hasn’t exactly learnt social cues yet (ie. how to not have meltdowns public all the time). Thankfully, cinemas saw the demand for these kinds of activities and created Mums and Bubs movies where, if your baby cries, everyone will understand. Because you deserve a break we created a Mums and Bubs movies Sydney guide so you can find the best session for you!

 

Ritz Cinema’s ‘Bubz Club’
Location: Randwick
What They Offer: Films every Monday and Wednesday at 10am
Extra Info: These services do not occur on school holidays

 

Event Cinema’s ‘Bring Your Baby‘ sessions
Locations: Several across Sydney
What They Offer: Films on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at select venues
Price: $10 deal for an adult and one child under 4
Extra Info: Each cinema has starting times varying from 10:00am – 12:40pm depending on the location. These sessions do not occur during school holidays

 

Palace Cinema’s ‘Babes in Arms’ sessions
Locations: Leichhardt, Paddington, and Chippendale
What They Offer: Movies every Thursday at 11 am
Price: $10 per adult at Palace Verona & Norton Street, $15 per adult at Palace Central (including Platinum fully reclining seats) and children under 3 years free at all locations!
Extra Info: All cinemas have lifts for easy pram access

 

Dendy’s ‘Real Bubs’ sessions
Locations: Newton
What They Offer: Movies every Thursday morning
Price: $10 for a standard ticket and children under 5 for free
Extra Info: The cinema has dimmed lights and reduced sound to make the session kid friendly. These sessions are available to book on the Tuesday prior to the session. Reel Bubs sessions do not run during the school holidays.

 

HOYTS Cinema’s ‘Prams at the PIX’ sessions
Locations: Several locations across Sydney
What They Offer: Films every Wednesday excluding school holidays
Price: $11 for adults and kids under 5 are free
Extra Info: The lights are dimmed and the sound is softer to allow for a kid-friendly session. These are not held at the Chatswood Westfield cinema.
