We will be doing an Easter Egg hunt at our house this year, thought it would be great to come up with a basket to carry our little ones findings.
You will need:
- 4 Paper plates (I used 2 dinner sized and 2 side plate size)
- Stapler
- Glue
- Scissors
- Paint (I used pink for the ears and tummy and black for the nose)
- Cotton balls
- Egg carton section (for the nose)
Method on how to make a Paper Plate Easter Bunny Basket
STEP ONE: Staple one side plate to one dinner plate
STEP TWO: Cut the second dinner plate in half
STEP THREE: Staple one half of the cut dinner plate upside down to the whole dinner plate to make the pocket.
STEP FOUR: Cut the side second side plate in half
STEP FIVE: Cut each half into quarters but don’t cut all the way through. Leave about 2cms at the edge
STEP SIX: Twist the ends in together to form the ear and staple together
STEP SEVEN: Staple them to the head of the bunny
STEP EIGHT: Cut a 2cm strip off of the remaining half dinner plate
STEP NINE: Staple to the back of the head of the bunny to make the carry handle
STEP TEN: Glue on cotton balls
STEP ELEVEN: Draw eyes and mouth on the remaining plate and cut out, glue eyes and mouth on. Make a nose out of the egg carton section and glue it on, and paint ears and belly
