Many of us have family recipes handed down from generation to generation. This particular Christmas pudding recipe has been handed down four generations in my family, and I will pass it on to my children as well.
It evokes wonderful memories of Great Auntie Lottie, followed by Big Nanna, then my dear Mum getting everything organised, ensuring the calico was ready, a boiling hot kitchen, and finally the ooh’s and ahh’s of a magnificent traditional pudding at Christmas.
